Description

Tesamorelin is a stabilized synthetic form of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-44). It is used in laboratory work on the GHRH receptor and the growth hormone and IGF-1 signaling axis. Supplied as a lyophilized powder, strictly for laboratory research and analytical use.

How Tesamorelin works.

Tesamorelin is a copy of growth hormone-releasing hormone with one small change that stops an enzyme called DPP-4 breaking it down so quickly. It works a step earlier than growth hormone itself: it binds receptors in the pituitary gland, which then releases the body's own growth hormone. That in turn raises IGF-1. Researchers use it to study that chain, and it has been measured in trials looking at visceral fat and liver fat.
