Description

Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine complexed with copper(II). A naturally occurring tripeptide used as a reference compound in dermatological and regenerative research.

GHK forms a high-affinity complex with copper(II) that participates in cell-signaling, extracellular matrix remodeling, and broad transcriptional modulation. Plasma levels of endogenous GHK decline with age, and the copper complex has been shown to influence the expression of hundreds of human genes associated with tissue repair.
